 Intermediate to Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for an Intermediate to Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our consulting engineering team in Tauranga.

 

2E Consulting is an engineering consultancy that provides quality engineering design, investigations, project management and on-site supervision to a diverse range of Commercial and Industrial clients.

If you are looking to expand and mature your career and are someone who values designing and delivering enduring engineering solutions, you won't settle for substandard designs and drawings, this could be the role for you.

You will produce detailed mechanical designs, prepare drawings, perform engineering calculations, analysis and produce high-quality reports.  The role will include visiting our client's sites for meetings, investigations, etc.  It is desirable that you have or are working towards your CPEng and Chartered membership with Engineering New Zealand – we can aid in this process.

Must be an NZ Citizen/resident or have a current working visa.  Overseas applications without a current visa will not be considered.

 Graduate Engineer or Drafting expert

We are looking for a Drafting expert or Graduate Engineer to join our consulting engineering team in Tauranga.

If you are looking for a foothold to grow your career and are someone who values enduring engineering solutions, you won't settle for substandard designs and drawings, this could be the role for you.

As a Drafting expert you will have 2+ years of relevant experience and be familiar with AutoCAD, or Inventor or Revit.  Some basic design skills, attention to detail, and practical knowledge of how things go together would be awesome.

For a Tech-savvy graduate the drawing skills will complement the mechanical design.  The role would initially include creating
quality 3D models and drawings, which will require learning and understanding the mechanical design process. 
This role will include site visits for taking measurements and understanding the problem.  You will be an integral part of designing the solution.  For the right person with a can-do attitude, we offer to build up your design skills to allow you to take on more complex projects and lead to CPEng registration.

The opportunity includes competitive remuneration, flexible working hours can be agreed to and professional memberships paid for.
